The trail numbers were put in to allow different trails and segment of trails to be readily identified. It also allows trails to be added or deleted easily. The northern section of Crosspointe has the numbers 1 through 20 available. The middle section of Crosspointe has the numbers 21 through 70 available. The southern section (south of Halley) of Crosspointe has the numbers 71-99 available.
